Slow down and buckle up!!
Look out!!! Beginning Spetember 15th (2010) fines for speeding tickets will increase, raising additional revenue for Illinois State Police and local governments! The standard fine for speeding up to 20 mph over the limit in Illinois will increase to $120!!!! Up $45!! Those who go 20-29mph over the limit will see their fine increase from $95 to $140 and drivers zipping along more than 30 mph over the posted speed limit will pay $160..a $55 increase!!! Believe it or not, that's often cheaper then going to court, where coasts can put the final tab for a speeding ticket above $200!!!

Ooooooooooooooops!
A bunch of HUGE football players were crawling around on their hands and knees at the end of Tuesday's (8/30) Miami Dolphins practice! They were trying to help out defensive end Kendall Langford, who had LOST one of his earrings!!! Langfors said the diamond was nearly 2.5 carats! He was joined by several of his teamates who looked around the field for about an hour after practice. BUT....the search was in vain! The earring is still missing! Langford wouldn't say how much the earring was worth but one jewelry distributor says it could be worth more than $50,000!!!! Dolphins coach Tony Sparano didn't take part in the search...though he did watch for a while!!!

The Stones get GAME!
Well, we were hoping for a summer tour but I guess a new Monopoly game from the Rolling Stones might just kill some time while waiting for their new alblum! Gibson.com has the "Stones version" changing streets to "Sticky Fingers" and "A Bigger Bang!" Gold and Platinium records replace houses and hotels. The Chance and Community Chest cards have been changed to "Lyrics" and "Licks"andh the 4 railroads now represented by tours!! It will be released in time for the holidays!

A Pennsylvania woman took a sign to a Paul McCartney's show in Philadelphia requesting him to autograph her back with a permanent marker. McCartney called Rose Ann Belluso on the stage and signed her back! She decided to make the signature permanent and had it tattooed onto her back! She said it was the best experience of her life, besides the birth of her two sons!!! Now THAT'S a HARDCORE FAN!!!!!!

From the "Duhhhhhh!" file - Kimberly Ramirez walked into a Waukegan, Illinois bank and handed the teller a hold-up note. Kimberly got away with more than $11,000...temporarily. Kimberely might've held onto the cash on amore permanent basis has she not wrote her note on the BACK OF A PERSCRIPTION made out in HER NAME and left if at the bank!! In order to further assist police in her arrest, Kimberly also left her peresonal debit card on the teller's counter. When Waukegan police arrived at her apartment building about 40 minutes later, they found Kimberely outside because she's locked herself out! I mean PLEASE!!!
