The admiral in charge says the site is designed to serve as a one-stop repository for news, data and the operational updates related to administrative efforts to stop the BP oil spill. www.restorethegulf.gov

It’s Turkey (appropriate) with swiss cheese, pesto mayo, avacado and spinach. I asked the COOL listeners what they would call a sandwich…in honor or dishonor of Blago and got some great suggestions! One caller suggested a sandwich named “The Deranged!” Loaded with bologna (for obvious reasons) swiss cheese (for all the holes in his story.) Another suggested “The Stinker” which would be bologna and limburger cheese! Yucky!! Add a piece of hair and you got yourself yourself a meal!!!

Buffalo, Las Vegas, Pasedena, or Topeka - all of the 100,000-120,000 cars in any of these cities could have been fueled for a year by the oil from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill of of June 17th, which was day 59 of the catastrophe! The Unversity of Delaware wbsite calculates daily, the number of kinds of transportation vehicles the spilled oil could have supplied. It also incudes a map showing different cities and counties whose cars could have been fueled for ayear. If all the spilled oil so far had been used for fuel, it could have powered 115,00 cars and 8,800 trucks for a YEAR! The latest calculations are based on the average estimated spill rate of 50,000 barrels per day. Find out more at www.udel.edu

Inspired by the fan campaign that got Betty White hired as a Saturday Night Live host, NJ.com reported that Chris Junior - an Asbury Park Press contributor - has started a Facebook page to convince the “Exile on Main Street-era” Rolling Stones to re-unite! Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor haven’t performed together live since October 1973.Mick Taylor left the band in December 1974 following the release of “It’s Only Rock n Roll” and was replaced by Ron Wood.
